AuxSwitchSet allows you to connect two audio sources to your bike's auxiliary input. It is a dual input, ground loop isolator with auto sense switching between active input sources. This device is designed to connect to an intermittent audio source, such as a satellite radio or combination GPS-MP3 player, and a secondary audio source.
TWO SCENARIOS:
1. Satellite radio and MP3 Player:
You want to listen to satellite radio and in the event of signal loss, listen to a backup audio source (e.g. iPod or other MP3 player)
Connect the satellite radio to AuxSwitchSet's primary audio input cable. Connect the MP3 player to the AuxSwitchSet's secondary audio input cable.
Turn on both audio sources.
As long as there is audio present from the satellite radio, that audio source is presented to the bike's auxiliary audio input. If the satellite signal fades, causing loss of audio for at least 8 seconds, AuxSwitchSet switches the auxiliary audio input to the MP3 player.
2. Combination GPS/MP3 (e.g. iWay) player and Satellite radio:
You want to listen to satellite radio and in the event of a GPS alert, listen to that audio source (e.g. GPS/MP3 player)
Connect the GPS/MP3 player to AuxSwitchSet's primary audio input cable. Connect the satellite radio to AuxSwitchSet's secondary audio input cable.
Turn on both audio sources.
As long as there is no audio present from the GPS/MP3 player, the satellite audio source is presented to the bike's auxiliary audio input. If the GPS/MP3 player issues a voice alert, AuxSwitchSet switches the auxiliary audio input to the GPS/MP3 player. After 2 seconds of silence, AuxSwitchSet switches back to the satellite radio.
If you want to listen to music from the GPS/MP3 player, the AuxSwitchSet switches to that source. If you turn off the GPS/MP3 player's music output, AuxSwitchSet switches back to satellite radio after 8 seconds.
3. Combination XM/GPS (e.g. Garmin 2730) device and MP3 player:
You want to listen to an MP3 player and in the event of a GPS alert, mute the MP3 player audio.
Connect the XM/GPS device to AuxSwitchSet's primary audio input cable. Connect the MP3 player to AuxSwitchSet's secondary audio input cable.
Turn on both audio sources.
As long as there is no audio present from the XM/GPS device, MP3 audio is presented to the bike's auxiliary audio input. If the XM/GPS device issues a voice alert, AuxSwitchSet switches the auxiliary audio input to the XM/GPS audio. After 2 seconds of silence, AuxSwitchSet switches back to the MP3 player.
If you want to listen to music from the XM/GPS device, enable the XM audio on the combination device. The AuxSwitchSet will switch to that source. If you turn off the XM/GPS device's music output, AuxSwitchSet switches back to MP3 player after 8 seconds.
Combination XM/GPS devices have internal muting capability: if you are listening to the XM radio and the GPS issues an alert, the device's internal circuitry will mute the music.
Auxiliary Audio Harnesses, Power Harness and Stereo Device harnesses are available to connect the base unit to the specific bike make and model.
MSRP - USD 95.00 (base unit only, device, power and Aux audio harnesses sold separately)

"Received your package yesterday. Installed it today. Easy install, everything was plug and play. It took me longer to get the fairing open than to install your device.
I hooked the XM satellite radio to the secondary input, and my IPOD to the primary. I turned on the system with the satellite radio on and the IPOD on pause, and listened to XM radio. When I pushed Play on the IPOD, it switched immediately, and I heard IPOD music. Pause IPOD, short wait, and satellite comes back on.
This is exactly what I wanted.
I like to have the satellite radio on while I listen to the IPOD, so that I can watch the display on the satellite radio, and when I see a song I like come up, switch to the satellite, and then, when I'm tired of satellite, switch back, but continue to monitor the display on the satellite. Previously, I did this by moving the plug from one device to the other......big hassle and takes too much attention from the road.
Now, when I see a song I like in the display of the satellite, I just pause the IPOD, and instantly switch to XM.
Great service, great product."
